L.R. Fox

L.R. Fox, a serial entrepreneur, philanthropist, and Forbes 30 Under 30 recipient, noticed a trend among his peers while in the US foster care system: that those with the most talent often ended up in the worst circumstances. Fox founded The Oasis Academy to strategically invest in those with the highest potential to offer a brighter future and bring hope to orphans around the world.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Anjana Utarid

Anjana has over two decades of leadership experience in the nonprofit sector. She has served as an Executive Director for four organizations, consistently demonstrating a commitment to strategic growth, operational excellence, and mission-driven leadership. Anjana’s leadership has earned widespread recognition. She received the North Bay Nonprofit Leadership Award in 2014, and under her guidance, the organizations she led were named “Best Places to Work” in 2014, 2015, 2018, and 2019. In addition, Anjana served as a peer reviewer with the Council on Accreditation and managed the western region of the United States accreditation process for social service agencies.

John B Savage, EMBA

John has been working to bring hope to broken people from all walks of life for over 30 years. With an Executive MBA from Pepperdine University, he has been blending business and philanthropy for decades and helped build and fund multiple nonprofits throughout North America, including Hawaii.
