The Oasis Academy is finalizing the development of its flagship campus, located on 8 acres of the Big Island of Hawai‘i and we are currently seeking a dynamic and strategic President & Executive Director to lead our organization.The Oasis Academy is dedicated to providing high-quality education and fostering a strong sense of community. Key Responsibilities:
As President & Executive Director, you will provide both strategic vision and operational execution. You will work closely with the Board of Directors and global partners to scale Oasis Academy’s model, culture, and mission.
Strategic Leadership: Drive long-term planning and ensure mission-aligned, sustainable growth
Program & Curriculum Development: Lead the design and launch of cutting-edge academic and enrichment programs tailored to gifted youth
Financial Oversight: Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy to ensure stability and transparency
Fundraising & Partnerships: Develop donor relationships, lead capital campaigns, and engage philanthropic, corporate, and investment communities
Board Collaboration: Partner with the Board to set priorities, align vision, and report on progress
Team Building: Hire, mentor, and lead a high-performing team with a collaborative and values-driven culture
Community & Global Engagement: Build relationships with students, families, local leaders, and global stakeholders
Institutional Advocacy: Represent Oasis Academy in public forums and with key decision-makers to advance the mission and raise visibility
Ideal Candidate Profile
We’re looking for a strategic, mission-driven leader who thrives at the intersection of education, nonprofit innovation, and global change. You may come from education, philanthropy, international development, or social enterprise — what matters most is your ability to lead, inspire, and execute.
Required:
Proven executive leadership experience in education, nonprofits, or a related mission-driven field
Strong financial management and fundraising skills
Demonstrated success in building programs, teams, and stakeholder networks
Experience working with boards and aligning complex teams
Exceptional communicator and public-facing advocate
Passion for youth empowerment and transformational education
Preferred:
Experience engaging with high-net-worth individuals, philanthropic investors, or global funding bodies (e.g., family offices, venture capital, PE, or sovereign wealth funds)
Advanced degree (e.g., M.Ed., MBA, MPA, or Nonprofit Management)
Previous C-Suite experience
Bilingual or multicultural fluency
Familiarity with remote leadership and/or international programs

The Oasis Academy is finalizing the development of its flagship campus, located on 8 acres of the Big Island of Hawai‘i and we are currently seeking a skilled, resourceful Off-Grid Property Manager to live onsite and lead the daily upkeep and smooth operation of our unique campus.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain our off-grid systems: solar panels, water catchment tanks, pumps/wells, septic and composting toilets
Handle general facility upkeep, repairs, and small-scale construction projects
Monitor vendors and contractors for quality, safety, and cost control
Coordinate with staff on housing, shared spaces, and campus logistics
Manage a maintenance budget and plan seasonal projects
Ensure property safety, code compliance, and a welcoming environment for students and staff
Ideal Candidate Profile:
To succeed in this role, you should have a combination of technical expertise and a passion for nonprofit property management. We’re looking for someone with:
Experience with off-grid living, maintenance, and construction, including solar systems, water catchment, water pumps/wells, septic, and composting toilets
Experience as a handyman, maintenance worker, or related role in a tropical environment (preferred)
Handy, practical, and quick to solve problems independently
Financial literacy to manage budgets and vendors
Friendly and professional communicator—especially with youth and nonprofit staff
Pass a thorough background check
Familiarity with Hawaii permitting, building codes, or cultural norms (preferred but not required)
What We Offer:

Starting salary between $60,000 – $80,000, depending on experience, with health, dental, and vision benefits
